Jos Muijtjens:

Born in Maastricht, the Netherlands on December 28, 1957. Jos started on trumpet as a 7 year old boy in a local harmony in Maastricht. He joined the Netherlands Army as a 18 year old boy and played in the Army band for 4 years, touring Germany, France and the Netherlands.
After coming back to his hometown Maastricht, the music Academy in Maastricht asked him to help their Big Band, which Jos did for many years.
He founded a Big Band, played in numerous pop bands and he started to mix quick dance moves while playing the trumpet. Interaction with the audience is one of his trademarks, he likes to tease the audience with some high energy moves and high notes!
